News and Information

Effective March 17, LIFE PACE has closed its Adult Day Health Center temporarily as part of its preventative plan to protect elderly participants from the COVID-19 outbreak. Although the day center is temporarily closed, LIFE PACE will continue to provide medical care through its normal clinic operations.

Screening measures have been implemented to protect staff and participants entering the facility. Staff and participants will only be allowed to enter the facility through the front entrance and access by visitors and vendors has been limited. The staff have been educated on protocols for such an outbreak and will continue to perform regular duties with added infection control precautions. LIFE PACE will continue to work with State agencies to be up-to-date on the most recent health information available.

LIFE PACE Needs Your Help!

We're asking the community to help support our medical personnel by sewing non-surgical protective face masks to donate to the clinic. Orders for standard/disposable masks are on long back-orders, due to both demand and supply chains. According to the CDC, fabric masks are a crisis response option when other supplies have been exhausted.

We welcome fabric masks from our community members, churches and other organizations. Thank you for your generosity, interest and care.

  • Use tightly-woven cotton fabrics or linen used in layers. See tutorials below.
  • When your masks are complete, email us or call (918) 949-9969 or (918) 664-9000 to arrange for delivery during business hours. We will meet you in our facility parking lot at a pre-arranged time. (902 E. Pine St., Tulsa, OK or 5950 E. 31st, Tulsa, OK)
  • Collected masks will be immediately sent to laundry/processing to be prepared for use.
  • Any extra masks will be donated to health care facilities and nursing homes if needed. We will likely need over 1,000 to take care of direct patient care staff alone.
